There is no any major change in syllabus. It is almost same as that of CBSE, but there are a little change. NTA will conduct NEET exam which will be based on new edition of NCERT (about 80%).
Biology
Recently NCERT Books were updated (especially Biology). In Biology more than 120 corrections have been done.
So it is very necessary for an aspirant to read the new NCERT Biology book.
In Biology, the number of chapters and its weightage will remain same.
But for Physics and Chemistry; some changes have been made, which is uploaded on Official website of the Medical Council of India (MCI).

Physics
Following chapters/topics have been removed:
1. Fluid mechanics
2. rms speed of gases
3. Communication systems.
Chemistry
Following chapters/topics have been removed:
1. Historical part in Some basic Concepts of Chemistry, Atomic Structure and Period Table.
2. Nomenclature of elements with atomic number greater than 100.
3. Covalent character of ionic bond
4. Concepts of systems, surroundings, work, heat, energy, extensive and intensive properties, state functions.
5. Application of redox reaction
6. Position if hydrogen in periodic table, hydrogen as fuel
7. s block- CaO, CaCO3
8. Physical and chemical properties of boron.
9. Classification of Hydrocarbon
10. Solid State- n and p type semiconductor
11. Nerst equation and its applications
12. Nitrogrn preparation, properties and uses; compounds of nitrogen
13. Properties and manufacturing of Sulphuric acid.
14. Oxidation state of group 17; preparation of Cl and HCl.
15. Occurrence of transition metals, metallic character of first row transition metals.
16. Coordination compounds- Extraction of metals.
Note: The above changes in syllabus is only for NEET, not for AIIMS and JIPMER.
For example: Communication system in Physics is very important for AIIMS as 2 to 3 questions comes from this chapter in AIIMS.
Thank you for the update.
ReplyDeleteThan how much question of modern physics will be??
