There are nine government medical colleges in Bihar which are permitted to continue the MBBS course. These are:

Counsellings and Cutoffs

Government medical colleges of Bihar take their student's admission through two mode of counselling:

1. All India Quota Counselling

 For filling All India Quota Seats. It is conducted by MCC and involves participation of students from any state of India (except J&K).

2. Bihar State Quota Counselling

For filling Bihar State Quota Seats. It is conducted by UGMAC and involves participation of students from Bihar only.
